Our story

KalaaBook started with a simple frustration: booking a nail artist, a mehendi artist or a salon often means being assigned whoever is free — not the person whose work you actually love.

Beauty is personal. Your wedding mehendi, your festival nails, your special-day look deserve an artist you chose, based on their real portfolio.

So we are building a portfolio-first booking platform. See the work. Choose your artist. Then book. We are starting in Gujarat with real artists and real salons, and growing city by city as trust grows.

Our first 50 founding artists pay 0% commission. After that we offer simple, fair pricing tiers.

What we collect: when you join the waitlist we collect your name, phone or email, city and category interest — only what we need to contact you about early access and updates.

How we use it: only to tell you when KalaaBook launches in your area and to share founding-member updates. We do not sell your information.

Your rights: you can ask us to delete your information at any time by messaging @kalaabook on Instagram.

Artist profiles: an artist appears on this site only after they applied, we reviewed their work and they agreed to be shown. Ask us to remove a profile at any time.

Pre-launch terms: this website is a preview. Sample profiles are examples only. No bookings or payments are taken yet, and features, pricing and availability may change before launch.
